Find Your Rhythm at the Wilton Conservatory of Music!

Ready to make some music? The Wilton Conservatory of Music offers private, one-on-one lessons for students from Kindergarten through adulthood—from brand-new beginners to experienced musicians looking to take their skills to the next level. Our talented instructors make learning music fun, engaging, and personalized to each student’s interests, goals, and experience.

Lessons are held at Cider Mill School Monday through Friday, between 2:45 and 7:00 PM. And you don’t have to live in Wilton or attend Wilton Public Schools to join us—everyone is welcome!

Choose from piano, guitar, strings, voice, drums, and more! Students should have their own instrument for lessons and practice at home. Pianos and drums are available for students to use during lessons at Cider Mill.

Find the right fit for your musician! Our flexible enrollment allows students to sign up for a 10-lesson session at any time during the school year. Our instructors tailor lessons to each student, helping them build skills in music reading, sight-reading, music theory, technique, and performance—all while building confidence and developing a lifelong love of music.

Choosing the right lesson length: 30-minute lessons are recommended for beginner students in Kindergarten through Grade 2. For students in Grade 3 and above, 45- or 60-minute lessons are strongly recommended, regardless of ability level, to provide enough time to learn, practice, and make the most of each lesson.

Coming straight from school? We offer lesson times that coordinate with school schedules: 2:45 PM for Cider Mill students, 3:15 PM for Middlebrook and Wilton High School students taking the bus, and 4:15 PM for Miller-Driscoll students taking the bus. While we do our best to align lesson times with bus arrivals, exact timing may vary due to transportation delays.
