Wouldn’t it be fun to take a trip into the pages then whip up something delicious from the story? Bring literature to life with Cooking with Books! Young cooks will learn to love spaghetti and meatball bird’s nests while reading Strega Nonna, banana brown sugar wontons while reading Caps for Sale, and Chinese style BBQ chicken eggrolls while listening to Dragon Dancer and learning about the Chinese New Year. Many other stories will entice young readers to use all their senses. Students will enjoy a popular classic read aloud by a Fork Knife Spoon Cooking instructor, a cooking business based in Wilton. Cooking with Books is a unique literature based program designed to help students build their reading and listening skills while having fun cooking.

A $15 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
