Cameras are on and we’re rolling! Welcome to OnAir! This program serves as the in-house short video production team for Miller-Driscoll School and is run by the team that produces The Miller-Driscoll Morning Show. We create the short programs that Administration, Teachers, PTA, and other internal clients need/want produced. It is a hands-on course producing programs such as Public Service Announcements and Commercials as either stand-alone online broadcasts and/or as “packages” or “inserts” shown on The Miller-Driscoll Morning Show.
During the course, students learn pre-production, production, and post-production skills using a variety of professional video equipment. Students meet with internal “clients”, either in person or via video, and create plans and scripts as well as plan the shot lists, create voiceovers, shoot stand-ups (where the reporter stands in front of the camera and talks) and take part in the editing and post production process. The finished product will be available on the show’s Vimeo channel and Blog.
Parents must authorize the Wilton Continuing Education online/photo/video permission (in the Student Account) for their child to attend this class.
Class will not be held on Monday, April 15 and May 27.
