Description

Beginners: Learn the game of chess. The chess club is open to beginners and players who know only the basic moves. Students will learn the names and values of pieces, their movements, how to right chess moves and be able to play a full game through to checkmate. All students will learn HOW TO THINK!

Intermediates: For players who have had several months of chess playing experience.  These include avid, intermediate, even tournament players. Students will learn typical chess strategies, how to think several moves ahead, and all the common checkmates.

All equipment will be provided.
