Description
A nourishing breakfast sets the tone for a productive day as it provides fuel for the body and brain. Many students skip this meal as they do not have the time to prepare and/or sit down to enjoy it. Join a culinary nutritionist in preparing various delicious, healthy breakfast options that can be easily prepared days ahead and then stored for the perfect “grab-and-go” meal. Recipes will focus on 4 main themes during this 4 week workshop: Energy Bars & Bites; Breakfast Cookies; The Incredible Edible Egg; and Grab-and-Go Breakfast in a Jar. All breakfast items will be made from scratch using fresh and healthy ingredients that will satisfy one’s hunger and provide energy to power through your day.
Please note: recipes contain milk, eggs and wheat; NO nuts or nut butters will be used.
No class Wednesday, 10/31.
