Curious about mosaics? Explore the art of mosaics in this engaging beginner class! Using the direct method, students will design and create a mosaic artwork with a variety of studio materials that will be provided. Students are also welcome to bring personal items like trinkets or jewelry to incorporate into their piece. Through demonstrations and one-on-one instruction, students will learn the mortar method - no messy grout required, while still achieving beautiful results. This class offers a fun, relaxed atmosphere designed for beginners to spark creativity, with an option to explore it further in future classes.

The $30 materials fee includes a base, mortar, and additional materials. All tools will be provided.

Materials: each student is welcome to bring one or two memento objects or relics, if they wish to use them in their mosaic.
