Power Up: Minecraft, Fort & LEGO Engineers (Gr 1&2)

Description

At Power Up: Minecraft, Fort and Lego Engineers, students will build and learn collaboratively within the educational version of the Minecraft game (Minecraft Edu) as well as through hands-on engineering challenges. Minecraft Education Edition offers the students unique learning opportunities as they visit, learn and build in civilizations around the world such as Ancient Egypt or China. Within the game they will explore diverse biomes, craft cities, explore concepts in STEM. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about coding as they program a helper robot (called the agent) within the Minecraft Edu game. Off screen, students will work collaboratively to create and construct through Minecraft Legos, Plus-Plus, Fantasy Forts and more!
