Description
MATHCOUNTS is a nationwide mathematics competition for middle school students. All students are welcome to register. This class helps students build upon their problem solving skills, embrace critical thinking challenges and inspires confidence. Each week students will work on a series of math challenges and enrichment exercises to prepare a team for competition. At the end of December, the top 10 students will be selected for the chance to represent Middlebrook School at a chapter level competition. Placement in that competition is dependent on our Middlebrook team #39's overall performance. Families can learn more about the MATHCOUNTS program by visiting mathcounts.org.
A $15 materials fee is payable to the teacher at the first class.
