Jason Greasley Coding with Mr. G using Scratch
Jason Greasley has been teaching elementary school for 26 years. He’s been a teacher at Cider Mill for 20 years, 16 of those in the fifth grade and is now currently in his 4th year as the library media specialist. For the past 10 years, he has also served as the Cider Mill Technology Instructional Leader as well as the webmaster for the school. He serves on both the District Web and Digital Advisory committees supporting purposeful inclusion of technology into the curriculum.
Jason has also been an instructor at “Camp Invention” for the past 8 years, a hands-on summer STEM day camp offered by WCE. This week-long camp fosters team building, collaboration, creativity and problem solving in a STEM type atmosphere.
Jason began his teaching experience in the sports world where he earned his Physical Education degree and coaching license in soccer. Over the years he has coached for Wilton High School and the Wilton Soccer Association.
