Connecticut vocalist and recording artist Ellynne Rey deserves a much higher profile. According to music critics, she flies under the radar with her warm authenticity, subtle delivery, and her crystalline mezzo voice, delighting and enchanting listeners all over the world. Ellynne studied jazz voice with a variety of prominent jazz musicians, including the legendary Sheila Jordan, Jay Clayton, Barry Harris, Mark Murphy, and actress Betty Buckley. She studied vocal technique for 6 years with renowned opera singer, John Macurdy. She is certified in Somatic Voice Work, The LoVetri Method (Tm), and serves on the music faculty of Southern Connecticut State University and Sacred Heart.
