Sal Giaimo Lego Creations: Before School

With over 23 years of experience as a passionate kindergarten teacher in Wilton, Mr. Giaimo is dedicated to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for his students. As the director of the "Be A Good Sport" sports camp for 22 years, he has fostered teamwork, discipline, and good sportsmanship in children. Mr. Giaimo delivered a motivational speech at convocation, showcasing his leadership and dedication to education. He is a member of the Wellness committee, as he strongly believes in a person's overall health and well-being.

For 10 years, he served as the emcee for the Wilton Education Foundation (WEF) "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" event, bringing humor and excitement to the community. He also participated in the WEF Teachers vs. Harlem Wizards game for two years, demonstrating his belief that learning should be both fun and meaningful. Mr. Giaimo strives to inspire his students to be curious, kind, and resilient both inside and outside the classroom. His commitment to his students’ growth and well-being is at the heart of everything he does.
