Tracey Dean GoZen!© (Gr 6-8)MB05

Tracey graduated Summa Cum Laude from the DARC program in 2004 (Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Counselor). She worked in residential treatment settings for over 15 years prior to switching her focus to substance-use prevention, working primarily with teens. She worked as a Student Assistance Program Specialist for Caron Treatment Centers in various schools, identifying at-risk students and providing appropriate interventions. She currently holds a CAC (Certified Addictions Counseling) credential with the state of CT. Tracey has been a Wilton resident her entire life; graduated from Wilton High School then went on to raise her six children in Wilton. She has a passion for helping the young adult population and understands the struggles. She ran a successful peer support group for many years (RAPS; Rising Adult Peer Supports) having as many as 20 kids per week attending; often meeting outside in Wilton Center because there wasn't enough space in her office. This population has always been drawn to her; and with her background she is able to provide the appropriate guidance and support.
