Pierre Moudourou Wilton 7th & 8th Grade Competitive Tennis Clinic

Pierre was born in Cameroon and raised in both Cameroon and France.

He is USPTR and ITF certified. As a young player, Pierre was ranked #1 in the 14 and 16 and under junior divisions. He was also ranked #1 in All-Men’s Singles in Cameroon and West Africa.

He won gold and silver medals at the African games and coached Fed and Davis Cup for Cameroon.

Pierre’s career in the US started at Beaver Brook Tennis Club (before it became Sport and Wellness) in Danbury, CT, where he worked with Simon Gale from 2001 – 2003. The opportunity to reunite with Simon and build something special at Taconic was very appealing to him.

Apart from teaching at Sport and Wellness, he has been the head coach of the Immaculate Girls Tennis Team and is currently the Head Tennis Professional at West Mountain Club in Ridgefield, CT.

When it’s time to relax, Pierre likes to visit friends. He also likes to eat good French, Asian, or Italian food, and watch his son play football or basketball.

He emulates his mother’s positive attitude and work ethic and brings these along with his passion for the game of tennis to our club.

We are very lucky to have a teaching professional of Pierre’s experience and knowledge, but most of all, a passionate teacher of the game.
